If you are finding yourself having to reregister every time you log in, the possible cause may be found in the guidelines that are clearly stated below.

Here are a few examples;

Numbers in your user name such as joeaa123, Punctuations or other special characters, joeaaE.!#$~, registering under your email address joeaa@........, more than 12 (Twelve) characters in your user name, more than 1 (one) word in your user name and joeaathegratefullone is not one word it is 4 (four) words even though they are ran together as one word the database can tell the differance.

Most of us either use our first name or first name and last initial.

as it states below, the database will reject all of the above examples in an attempt to stop spammers or hackers from entering our chat.

Registration Guidelines

~~~PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING~~~

All users are asked to register with a single word user name not exceed 8-12 characters.

Our database recognizes user names containing numbers, special characters, and email addresses as spammers and will reject your user name causing you to have to re-register every time you log out.

All users must also enter a valid email address in the registration form. This information is not public and will not be distributed to any person or organization.

These guidelines are set to protect you and other members of this site and not intended to intimidate anyone in any way.

Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
